The hobnail bezel is really nice. I’ve never owned a watch with a hobnail bezel but I think there might be one of my future. It exudes class. Where in the best of health. Congratulations.

Though im sure I will get it in the end, but your insight made it more comfortable to make that decision. I'm loving every second of it except... The strap 🙈. Personally think the colour is a little too conservative and the cracks doesn't look as nice as ... 

Here's for instance my 5124, not the most lively watch on its own, especially with the original strap that came with it to match the salmon dial...So upon purchasing it (many years ago), my AD and I ordered from Patek a flashy red strap for it, which I LO...  

The new Calatrava is a good choice for a watch with a classic and timeless look. Love the Clous de Paris design on the bezel ! Enjoy it often !
