I have the 5270P-001 (Salmon)
And the only thing stopping me from saving up to get the 5270 1/R is that I already have the reference. I have seen the 5270P-014 and it personally leaves me a bit cold, the dial execution is quite lovely but i suppose i have green fatigue!
What is your choice PP 5270/1R VS 5270P-014
They are very similar in price which one will be your choice if you have chance to buy , if this one will be your final one ...
Not a fan of the green and the 'R' is too blingy...
These days you would have to hire armed guards to wear the R version in public... If security were not an issue, the R bracelet...
Green dial.
All day every day. Saw it in person in Geneva and it was the star of the show! Most popular watch by far.
I would go with the R if I had to choose one of these, but rather would go for a 5970..
If the R, would wear it on a strap most of the time.

I love clean dial of 5270P-014, and love bracelet of RG. 5270 is manual wind so it will occasionally use for me, Heart told me 5270P is better, brain told me 5270/1R is suitable for official event.

The R would be too loud for me and the green dial doesn't fit to the classic style imho
My choice is the first iteration of the 5270. Timeless and in the tradition of 2499 and 3970 without tachymeter scale ...
