You do not really see the 40 mm. Overall the watch is very comfortable. After 2 minutes on the wrist, i had forgotten i had it (i m used to wear a nautilus with the very comfortable steel bracelet...). It is not thick, though a bit thicker than the nautilus.
Weight is OK, nothing specific to mention about it.
Sorry for the horrible picture, not a lot of light now ... and i had to take the picture myself with the phone so the nautilus might look a bit smaller ...

my appreciation for the subtleties of this new reference the design are really growing on me, those lugs are pretty special as is the complication on offer. It would be my choice amongst the straight PPC's in the range. Enjoy wearing it! John
