I'd send it to patek,
This way they can service the watch, and you can request the archive paperwork. I'm looking up the watch, but I don't have my reference material with me. My brother has this in New Mexico, he's supposed to come down in March or april. Hope he doesn't forget, normally I don't belong to any watchsites/ or any forums. But I'm starting to enjoy this, as this site has alot of knowledgeable people.
