Get a World Time! A 5130 has a bigger size than a 5110, 39, 5 mm if I'm correct, and looks even bigger than it is on the wrist. You will get a PP, and a Cult Watch, a Reference in the World Time category. Best, Nicolas.

The World Time is just a bit too busy for my taste. But nonetheless a beautiful timepiece.

My choice would be 5146g. The anthracite dial is a beauty to behold.

The 5146 that you have narrowed down should be the piece that you have in mind, well done. Now what model? The RG 5146 is just a sparkling beauty, possibly the most handsome version of them, if you like RG. I tried the WG white dial, YG white dial on and ... 

I am a huge RG fan. I prefer it of all the metals. I definitely need to try it on! I like the Yellow and the White but I have a feeling the Rose will really pop! So you would not consider the 5146 a dress watch? I am looking for something that can be worn... 

but then I think the Saxonia annual calendar has a cleaner dial.

THe 5146 is one of my favorite watches of all time, and was what lured me to Patek over 10 years ago. I really like the slate dial so and prefer white gold or platinum. I would go with the 5146P. Granted I have not seen a rose gold version.

I'd prefer either Yellow or Rose.

IMHO the 5205G is the best Patek to make the transition from oversized sport watch to complicated "dress" watch. The case is big by Patek standards (40.5mm) and the look is clean yet contemporary. In person it is an absolute stunner, I only say in person ... 

I will have to take a look at the 5205 later this weekend. Maybe I am trying to steer far from my current collection and that is why I am more drawn to the 5146 or 5140 etc... hmm. I will have to see.

No worries man. Honestly, while it is a bit avant garde for Patek, it is still miles away from your collection and more toward the dress side than the sport. Paul

and I prefer it over the Lange AC . You will appreciate the size & complication after the APs & Panerais and from your WS it seems to fit you well. The folding buckle is an added bonus IMO. A watch for any occasion IMO. cheers fernando...
