Hi Oliver,
I think it's just a case of having tried on the 3970 I fell in love with it. I also have "small wrist syndrome" and often feel smaller watches like the 3970 suit me better. I have to say though the 5170 does look stunning on your wrist. It's made me think before making a decision it would be helpful to be able to try both on.
I may be taking collection of something very special today, haven't mentioned it yet in case it doesn't arrive! If it does il try and post some photos later.

Thanks. I have considered both the 5970 and 5270 but not been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to try either on the wrist. I just love what I feel is the more traditional look of the 3970. I also prefer the smaller size. Regards

You have good taste, Kal. The 3970 is certainly one piece de choix.
