Design continuity
Going to a fancy dress dinner, so will wear a 1929 Pt pocket watch. A lot of design cues are maintained in the 5370p of today. Breguet numerals and similar seconds dials. Almost similar in size, do have to agree the 5370 is too large. ...
I tried on a friend's 5370P...
on my 7.25" wrist. And while I won't say it's too large, I will say it's as large as I would like it to be...no more. Thinner would be better, but that would probably mean a new movement and another $100K : )
There is the black dial 5170G with Breguet numerals.
A much lesser watch, for sure, but a very nice size. 39mm... And >$150K less
