Henri Stern Watch Agency New York

I've deal with Stern in New York for decades. They are the best!
On the way to going broke I bought a NIB Patek Nautilus from an Ad in Canton, Ohio that I wore everyday for decades. Through no fault of the AD, the split stem Patek movement was maybe the only Patek movement with out the Geneva Seal. After a few trips to Stern I met a Customer Service Rep that went above and beyond if his efforts to resolve my problems with the winding stem that kept coming out of my watch. That's right, change the date and the stem comes out. Other that my costs to send them my watch, there were no other charges to repair, return and often times provide a free service. As time went on and my eyes found if hard to see the 18kt. champagne dial I asked for the white dial used on their 3800 wt. gold version. They exchanged the dials free of charge to more or less apologize for the problems I was having with their movement. I recently had an issue with an original Patek logo 18kt. deployant. I striped an 18kt. screw taking the deployant apart so I could safely remove an old strap and ruined the head ofa screw so small that it could have been used in the movement. My old contact is still with Stern and he's moved way up the food chain. He remembered me and we enjoyed a long overdo chat. I told him what I was looking for and before he referred me to their replacement parts expert he reassured me that if Patek makes a repair part they have it in inventory. Otherwise, they'll have it made. Now that would be a very expensive date! Needless to say they had what I needed and they sent it right out. The two part screw assembly was $20. and the shipping was also $20. We had a chuckle over the shipping costs but Stern only ships the most expensive way to ship and always has.
Check your PM and I'll send you a name and number. Let us know of your experience with Stern so other Patek owners will know how and where to have their Pateks taken care of.

My Chronometro Gondolo 5098 went to the shop a while back, and the service proposal was approved on November 20th. Just curious as to what service turnaround times have been like for anyone else. The repair is for overwinding (bad, bad me!) and since the ...

be able to give you a fairly accurate estimate as to how long the repair will take. My guess is that you will have your watch back before May 1st. My experience with Patek Philippe service has ultimately been very good. Not inexpensive, but in the long ru...
