I understand your point.
I can just say that prices are generally free AFAIK (at least in France and many other countries).
Then if an AD is lying it's another story but it's essentially between him and you legally speaking.
You can of course let Patek Philippe know, and have to decide by yourself if you're ready to pay the price asked or not.
We generally accept to get a discount from an AD when the watch is not too rare and spoken, but how couldn't we accept to also take into market value when the watch is rare and asked? This is definitely too personal and that's also why such discussion can't go further here.
Indeed chances to be able to buy a brand new 5070P from an AD are probably low. Do you want the watch?

Hi, You can certainly try to inform Patek Philippe, or go back to your AD and ask, but generally prices are free. If an AD asks you a price and you're ready and pay it, what's the problem? Cheers Dje

Because as far as the price going up, well that is just not true. The list price has not changed. The dealer is not being honest about THAT. However, he is telling you the truth about not being able to get another.....

Firstly if you like the watch then you should rip the AD's hand off as you will not get another chance. Secondly he is trying it one a bit because there has been no price increase so that sounds a bit strange...... Good luck . Miles.
