I plan on visiting while I’m in Geneva for the week of April 9 for Watches & Wonders. I’m not sure how busy it will be - I’m guessing - very!! Were you able to book tickets in advance? The only reservations I could see were for private tours which are not what I’m looking for as a single traveler.

Please do. I was treated to the Salon and pieces there as well. But Musuem is quite extravagant in the amount of pieces - Patek and otherwise.
What I most remember from my visit was the look of disapproval from
the woman at the entrance, when I paid for the ticket with a handful of coins. Probably warm from being in my pocket.

Wonderful experience. During the same trip I visited the AP museum too so you can imagine how excited I was.

I did do the private tour
We got a person knowledgeable about the pieces who was able to tailor it to the amount of time we had available. Otherwise I felt that it was very difficult to pick your stops to focus. They do have the audio system that provide information for each piece...
