To be fair with this version, one has to say it is also very, very appealing!

Hands: 5130 and 5230, world time watches should have unusual hands. Case: 5230 has the most interesting case. I do like the 5110 and 5130 cases especially the crown protectors Guilloche Dial: 5110 and 5130 are my favorite. There really is no clear winner!... 

Dial when cramming so much info onto a dial and the case fits better on my wrist. But I have a huge soft spot for WT and happy to own all variations

My favorites are probably the 5110p, 5130R and 5130P. Great photo of the 5230R here!

...and it the dial were a dark blue they would really pop, making it one of the more legible versions.

The good news is that there is plenty to be said about past models and the history of WTs. I know you have a good source of inspiration around « le voyage » 😉

...in an R or J version. It would maintain the warm feeling of the watch that I prefer over the 'coolness' of G or P.

...the diamond. But it seems so contrived. If I ran the show, you could buy any dial with any case...you wouldn't have to be Eric Clapton to get a one-off dial.
