For whatever reason, I'm personally not bothered at all
by the round movement and round design (with “corners”) of the dial. In fact I like this design, which makes the watch look like an augmented circle.
Patek has used the total real estate of the cushion shaped dial on other references like the 5940, but I'm not sure that it is necessarily better.
And I find the round movement to fit quite well in such a shaped case.
