Excellent. My advice is to NOT buy it retail unless your AD is willing to package it with a Nautilus as there is an significant savings in store for you if you look to the secondary. [nt]
About 2 hours after a friend of mine persuaded me to try his 5159G for one night and one day (hoping I will become weak and buy it) I found by chance the 5320G in the shop window of an AD I sometimes visit. I stormed into the shop immediately since it was...
don’t congratulate. 😱 I am trying to stay strong and not to buy this watch!! And yes, you are right. It‘s super-cool. And very practical and legible, too.
You could buy 2 JLC Doumetre for same money. 😎 Does this help me to stop you? 😆 Now I start to realize what „Vlad“ meant in some former posts... Amitiés mon ami
The watch is in real MUCH better than on pics. It´s lovely. And the dial is excellent to read (especially if you compare it with the 5159G I have got the chance to wear for 24 hours now). Best Thomas
The readability is excellent, the 40mm case is perfect for me, the colour of the dial, the three-dimensionality of the hour markers etc. etc. Even the hour markers at 5 and 7 near the date sector don´t disturb me in reality. I have to say that the whole a...
I think it is extremely versatile, beautifulke AND practical. The only thing: I don´t understand why it is so difficult in this category to produce a case with a WR of at least 6 bar (better: 10 bar)?
I have enjoyed wearing mine thoroughly! Pricing wise, indeed, it’s much lower in the secondary market and it all depends on your approach and goal with AD.
I don´t fell really in love. Although I wanted and liked it from the pics very much. But I don´t find it is easy to read ( I nearly missed a meeting today by mixing-up the date and the minute hand). And I also think that the 5320G is the better offer.
I was more enamoured by the guilloche pattern of the dial. It looked very intricate and beautiful. But a watch, being a useful tool, should be correctly visible.
It is really beautiful and high sophisticated and 100% PP. But as a simple time telling tool it has not convinced me. Perhaps if you are sitting at the back of a RR and being chauffeured while admiring this piece of art. But not if you are using it during...
Saw it in the window and was quite disappointed how cramped the dial was. The numbers are too many and too big on the dial. Patek tried here to make it as legible as possible and lost it. It does not look at all like a classic watch, clearly a modern watc...
What I don't like about these models is the change from a 24 h sub dial to the colored dot that changes at 06 & 18 h. This needs to be change to 00 & 12 so you know which 12 hour cycle the watch is displaying.
I do not like a 24h display as it makes one time display obselete. I know it is for an easier setting but still. The portholes and the big day and month display were ment to make the watch more legible but the luminosa filled big numerals do not blend in....
At this point, the 5320g has been on the market for 3 years. I wonder if it is a “Big Seller” for Patek Philippe? When the 5320g first came on the scene, I remember it being very controversial. Many people in our community found serious fault with the wat...
I had a complete different feeling when I had it on my wrist. Very well made and very clear yet with a nostalgic touch. Is this design timeless? We will see... I like the 5159G very much. It is a beuatiful watch wiet 100% PP DNA. But the time was not easy...
lots of open real estate on the dial. If you love it get it. I would frankly wait on the next generation from this really neat movement. Maybe less retro and less lume.
It´s a lot of money, and I want to be 100% sure. I really wear each of my watches and don´t see them as simple "investment objects". So each acquisition has a special value for me. HAGWE Thomas
We should never buy a watch we didn´t see live or had the chance to try personally. I have made this experience very often: I fell in love with a watch from the official pictures and so reading everything about it I was able to find, and when I finally wa...
