I have been spending alot of time with the 5070r.. I must say, despite the large 42mm case, it wears pretty well on my small wrist (lug to lug is only 48mm and the thick stepped bezel makes it wear smaller than 42mm) And then the case and dial are absolut...  

I appreciate that they went with bicompax layout. That is also a great strap color choice.

I like how the grey shades of the strap matches those of the dial in certain light

Even if for this ref I have chosen to go for a G version. P would have been my fav but out of reach. But I can certainly relate with the beautiful R iteration Enjoy it a lot and wear it in the best of health!

I love how patek paired the 4 metals have different dial colors.. J black, P navy blue, G silver and R grey-silver.. so at the end it’s not so simple as choosing ones preferred metal..

I think the thick bezel also helps to reduce the size visually.. have to give it to the designers.. very cleverly done
