That's the general rule of thumb for me. That said, I have not come across a bejeweled watch holding value - if there is such a thing - like its non-bling counterpart. Which also means that if you are looking to pick one up on the used, or gray, market, you should be looking at a substantial savings that could well make the deal irresistible! I've seen the set with the matching cufflinks and money-clip and I can imagine how it can set any heart a-flutter heh.
