Couldn’t expect something better
It was really unexpected the fact that again eberhard Milan signage will be displayed. Thanks to PP people , they are working with a lot of respect. The answer from EBERHARD MILAN in my query for the signage was disappointing. I am more than happy, really thankful to Patek Philippe. To be honest, I expected to pay a lot more for overall service. It is not much 2.600€ for everything.

Difficult to say without pictures-original is always better
The name on the dial refers to a retailer who sold the watch originally.Patek did this for a few favoured retailers eg Gobbi, Tiffany, Eberhard etc Julian

.....its all about preserving it. I have a JLC that was a very similar story. The dial was badly damaged....water (and soil) had entered the movement and it was in a shocking condition. To me, the restoration would cost more than the value of the watch......

I suggest to do a mechanical revision in PP Geneva and NOT change the dial: ask to PP to try polish it! I presume 2.000€ and 1 or 2 years patience...

No, it is not original but it was bought in 1954. I think that this watch needs only a genuine leather strap.
