Chronometro Gondolo wristwatches

Here's an overview of the Patek Philippe Chronometro Gondolo wristwatches organised by case shape.

No exhaustive list here, just a wide range of examples.

From 1902 until 1927, Patek Philippe produced a series of watches called Chronometro Gondolo  (the name Chronometro Gondolo was registered on March 10, 1902, at 8 a.m. under no. 14,401) intended for its Brazilian retailer, the watchmaker Gondolo & Labouriau of Rio de Janeiro, with which the Geneva firm had maintained commercial relations since 1872 (the first pocket watch was sent to Gondolo & Labouriau on the 12th of November 1872).

The first Chronometro Gondolo wristwatches – in square, rectangular and tonneau styles, and also in a cushion-shaped carré cambré version – appeared around 1910. For this reason, since 1993, all modern Patek Philippe form watches – models whose cases are not circular – belong to the so-called “Gondolo collection” (which was launched only in 1993).

I know this is a very "niche" thread: apologies and thanks for reading.

Best, Emmanuel
