The 5712, for the beauty of its dial...
It may be different if you spoke of a Nautilus Vintage, a Jumbo, for example, with a Tritium dial, as the indexes are thinner than in the new version ( 5711 ), and the problem of the 5711, ( well, for me ), is these big luminova indexes...
Approach you dial to a light, and look at your dial...
It's less evident with the 5712...Which is my favourite in SS.

Am I the only one who may prefer the 5711 to the 5712? I have a chance to get 5712a and/or 5712r but may go for 5711a instead. Also the wg is becoming interesting maybe more so than the steel especially after my 5167 purchase. ...
5711 vs 5712
I agree that 5711 is more pleasing in my eyes than 5712 initially. However, as I am wearing my 5712 for the past week and its appeal does grow gradually....
