Which one do you prefer?

having read the full report made earlier about patek 5207, the design and its new instantaneous calendar function, most impressive. set aside price tag and all, i still think patek 5016 is more classic looking. the one thing i am not very sure of about th...  

Tend to agree with you, even if I have to wait to see it in the flesh ( well, if I'm lucky enough..LOL). But in pics, I still prefer the classic design of the 5016, compared to the " Baroque " Style of the 5204... Just a matter ot personnal taste, nothing... 

Is 5207 going to replace 5016? Do you have any information?

I prefer the 5016, I do not like the side serrations of the 5207. The 5207 does look nice at times though. As some say, it would be nice to own both.

since I don't have the luck to have handled any of them, but judging from spec and picture I'd pick 5207 with it technically superior instantaneous date changes and I particular like the apertures' legible layout! The serrations on the case doesn't add mu...
