Patek Philippe

Bingo!

Bingo!  The majority of 1518's and 2499's were produced in yellow gold, so when you get a rose gold coming out on an auction, it is very rare and will fetch an unbelievable price.

Check out the Christies' Geneva auction coming up in mid May, there are several pieces of 3448/3450 and compare the estimates on the white gold vs. the yellow gold.  You will be amazed at the price difference.  At the same auction, there is a stainless steel Lange 1 which is estimated to have an all-in hammer price of USD80,000.  So rarity does count, and it counts a lot!
