When me and 2 of my best watch buddies owned 5712/1A at the same time we compared them side by side and there are differences, as what you've mentioned here.

If I'm not mistaken that time was a 2006 , 2010 and 2013 piece. A have slight difference in dial color. And there was a small difference in moonphase finish, one being polished and other being matte. I still need to find the photo I took before, let's see if I can find it

And finally here we are, when everything seemed to be known, that even the 5712 has got its issue. Let's point our attention to the power reserve sector. The very first 5712s starting from 2006 until about 2008 have only 1 white dot, the later 5712s start...

I don't know the significance but I prefer one dot as oppose the two dots. Best Regards Edward
