Archive Extract
Received PP's Extract from the Archives today, so mystery solved. My Patek is neither a Ref. 425 as marketed nor a Ref. 1560 as surmised by Oliver. It is a Ref. 1468. I have attached a copy of the extract with the last four digits for each of the movement and case numbers redacted.
I am very pleased with this watch and remain in awe that it keeps such excellent time after 70 years. For the Patek historians on the board, what is your perspective on the Ref. 1468?

Interesting observation on the reference. I was going by the vendor's advert and pictures of Ref. 425, which closely approximate my watch. Will definitely hunt down a copy of the Reference Guide for details on Ref. 1560. The archive extract will tell all....
