Can someone please share his thoughts as to which of the two--Aquanaut or Nautilus--is a more comfortable wear as a daily beater "sports" watch? Thanks.

One on metal bracelet and the other on strap. The bracelet was one of the most uncomfortable watches I have ever worn but I beleive this to be specific to my wrist. Either it was too loose or too tight which is why I changed to the comfortable strap/gold ... 

I have been wearing my 5176, the 40mm Aquanaut as my daily wearer for 3 months now, and it is a very comfortable watch to wear. The synthetic strap fits the wrist perfectly and the deployment clasp is a beauty. It is easy to read the time in any lighting ... 

Given that you have only had the 5167 for the past three months, I assume it is simply too early in the season to gauge how the synthetic strap might feel during the summer months. As the strap is synthetic and by thus definition can't "breathe", it would...

Bought this watch a few months ago. It looks great, it wears great, it is great and for being a PP it's price is acceptable. You can wear it as a sportswatch but also as a dresswatch , you just need to buy a leather strap for it. not the best picture but ...  

Nautilus 3710/1A is better......

These 3712/5712 were a real surprise for me, as I wasn't very found of the Nautilus, bfore seeing one in the flesh.. It was one friend's 3712...And I was suprised by this dial, simply gorgeuos... So, with a big luck, i was abl to buy a 5712...And now, I'm... 

...with the rubber strap, sure the 5167 is more comfortable. But if I have to select only one, I think the Nautilus will be my choice. With the SS bracelet, the Nautilus will be more versatile....
