I was talking to B. xxxxxx (www.xxxxxxxxxx)
has been in the watch business for many years, said he would choose white gold if he liked the look and would not think twice about the rhodium plating.
please observe posting guidelines, especially re. dealers references!

i may be mistaken on this, but i seem to remember hearing from a jeweler that all white gold pieces, be they watches, bracelets, etc., are rhodium plated. i think she mentioned that "pure" white gold doesn't have much luster to it. is this correct?

How long it may take to have to have your wg watch replated is the $64,000 question. I suggest it may be 20 or 30 years....maybe longer before it would be required, if at all. Are there any wg owners here who have replated their wg watches? I've not heard...
