The current 5396 looks much, much better than the sector dial one.
Where the RG sector dial was not too bad, the WG one was very blund.
This WG one is a very nice mix of a "sporty" and ellegant watch, with a decent 38 mm size.
Sporty in terms of not baroque looking, not too classic and completely 30ies as the sector version.
As you are saying: a great piece to enjoy every day.

I'm a huge fan.
I'm rather partial to the classic calatrava design and this interpretation of it adds a genuinely useful complication while remaining elegant. The 5396 is on my wishlist.

My fault, the moon phase works fine, but last time I put it on after a few days, I did not set the moon phase. Best regards Georg

I have both the 5396R and the 5396G still sealed and awaiting a good occasion to open them. I've always been in love with this dial ever since I saw a 2438/1. Here the two are together... 5386G & 2438...
