The secons pic of the 5070J is a good one ! This is the only 5070 I never saw irl. But this picture you posted .... wonderfull !. I must see it one day For me this is the best one can get. If I had the money I would buy the 4 different 5070's. The 5170 is... 

I tried a 5970G, and I put it just behind the 5070 P ... and the G is my favourite 5970... so I completely agree wth you in fact Francois

It is a gorgeoud piece Miles, really very , very , very nice ..... but just after a 5070 LOL Now If I would win the Euro Millions, I would definitely buy the 4 different 5970's too .... but I'll start with the 5070's

disagree with you Bruno.... I would prefer the 5970 over the 5070... As Mles said, being different is great and it also leads to great conversations... 5070 is gorgeous but, for my wrist, too big.... 5970 is simply gorgeous and perfect on a wrist... Cheer... 

I did however have a real soft spot for the 5070wg but when I saw the 5070p in the flesh my heart was stolen........ My heart has been stolen again recently........ M....

The 5070P is an amazing piece Miles (great photos!) ... my partner has one and is deciding whether to buy a new PP or an F430 Spider, I have no preference... any thoughts?

Firstly I would like to say what a lucky person you are to have a someone in your life with such exquisite taste....... Firstly it depends on what PP? If we are talking 5970 or MR then no competition IMO....... PP all day long........ Having said that a 4... 

The 360 Modena looked tired and dated following the release of the F430. Now with the replacement 458 Italia, the f430 will soon see its best days behind her, though it will be a "nice" car. A PP is really timeless in design and will only be more apprecia...  

which one would you rather have in 10 years time?

tell your partner to do what their heart says but Wilson is right in 10 years time they may regret the 430......Unless they can do both and sell the 430 after 12 months...... Keep us informed and look forward to seeing a scan of you in the 430 or the PP..... 

I would not compare the PP 5070 to the Lange or the JLC one, but to this VC. Same calibre, same philosophy, in two different expressions. The VC was exquisite, this PP rules! Best, Nicolas...

Another wonderful chrono based on the Lemania calibre is the Roger Dubuis Hommage. Here's a picture posted by radone ( patek.watchprosite.com )....  

If I could ever buy (and afford) such a piece, I think I would do it this is magnificent

for posting the best picture of my RD Chronograph Monopoussoir. The movement is at least as beautiful as the dial....  

I sincerely find almost all the Roger Dubuis "hommage" extremely appealing. I'd like to know why there isn't an "hommage" family in the standard RD collection. Ciao!
