Patek Philippe

I love the 3919 Love the dial layout- very clean The case has a lovely cloux de paris(?) pattern Well chosen Julian

The 3919 has subseconds, is slightly more than 1.5mm smaller and contains the calibre 215, which is manually wound and the model is discontinued although the movement is still used in various forms

This 5120 is all you need: time only display and a very thin auto movement. Enjoy your Patek. Best Moritz

however; two things. Some would say I am too young to be buying Patek Philippe. Some would say I need to produce an heiress or heir for this watch. Another thing; I'm lucky that the original buyer looked after it and the watch has not lost any parts throu... 

I bought a platinum Art Deco Longines last year, have 2 Rolex and now the Patek. I guess your point has merits

Despite my current rotation, I don't have enough time. I rotate betwwen my 1942 Universal Geneve Compur, 1937 Longines Coronation in platinum, as well as the watches I've posted throughout PuristS. And this Patek is a big step up from the manual 37mm rose...

I enjoy hunting at pawn shops from time to time, but rarely see anything from Patek. With the 240 movement and it's fabulous micro-rotor, this is a winner. Dave

If there was ever a first Patek this would be it. Quintessentially Patek with the hobnail bezel and roman numeral dial. Thin case and ultra-thin self-winding movement of a Calatrava 5120J. I used to own a the older samlller version which was the 3520D in ... 

Usually I like running seconds, but I made the concession. The 3520 would be too small for me.
