Not just in it being there, no effort was made for it to match the dial styling. Patek can and does do better, wonder why they left the date window appearing as an afterthought tack-on.

the color of background. Patek has the ability, yet somehow miss the date window backgound color matching on timepieces such as this. Truly is a glorious piece sans date. jmho
