all of Europe is closed on summer holiday (July and Aug)
i am not sure about watches, but from my previous experiences (ordering things from Italy and France), there is absolutely no one working on July and August (not even someone to answer the phone!)

that the "watchmaker holiday" is kind of like the summer holiday for student. The holiday is Jul and Aug. Is that correct?
