If you are really keen on the 5170G, I have seen quite a few for sale at Patek ADs in London which is becoming an increasingly attractive place this week to buy a Patek. Sorry for the sales pitch! Best wishes, Sham

for clarifying why the 5070 is considered iconic but I am hoping that a watch does not become iconic only because it is produced in limited numbers but because of something special about it be the its movement, dial or its association to a previous model ...
