The Calatrava is one of my favourite model lines and this one is a nice example from the early days, circa 1943. The lume has been reapplied on this example. I would love to see a design like this for the successor to the discontinued 5196. ...

This 96 has tons of personality. The hands give it a very cool edge on the elegant overall design. I agree, you could definitely work with this for a new Calatrava!
