A call I wasn’t expecting, at all: 6007g-001
Over the past weeks I shared some wrist shots of watches I’ve been trying at my 2 local ADs and received great feedback from the forum regarding the many options.
After making an offer for a Saxonia thin at my secondary AD, my main AD called asking if I was still interested in the 6007-001. I was very surprised as I know they have a long and strong waiting list for the watch, but they told me they would like to sell it to someone who will really appreciate it. And no doubt I fitted the bill
I’m certainly no whale, but have been buying from them regularly for the past 15 years and for sure the long relationship helped here.
It took me about 2 seconds to say yes and a couple of days later went there to pick up the watch. It is a lovely piece, with the very high quality you’d expect from Patek, added with some touches of modernity. I think they could have picked a better strap, but that should be easy to fix.

Sincere congrats on a terrific new entry! This is indeed a highly sought-after modern Calatrava, and perhaps the single most playful and original piece of Patek's entire catalog!
Each AD normally won't receive more than one or two a year, so they are necessarily allocated to the most deserving collectors! Really happy for you, and I hope you'll enjoy thoroughly! FabR

what other than the strap it comes with would look good on this watch. Sort flows well with the color scheme.
I've been thinking about the black one that comes with the 5226g
The lug size is slightly different (22 vs 21mm), but I was told Patek accepts special orders for straps.
