6119R versus other RG dress watches?
Hello ladies and gents,
I’m new to the forum and was wondering if you may share your recommendations on a high-end, rose gold dress watch. The one I’ve centered my attention most on is the PP Calatrava 6119R—I love the eye-catching bezel, the just under 40mm size, and the generous display caseback. Are there any other alternatives you may recommend in this price range (~$30K-$40K)? Different from the 6119R but really visually appealing in terms of what I like is the PP 5078R—while sadly financially unobtainable for me, I’ve considered aesthetically similar models in my budget (used) such as the LF Galet microrotor as well as the Lang & Heyne Freidrich III (the LF is nice but only the expensive tourbillion model has Roman numerals a la 5078, and the L&H movement is finished more “German” whereas I am attracted to the traditional “Swiss” style as seen in LF and PP). The only watches that aesthetically (at least for me personally) I wouldn’t consider would be A Lange Saxonia/1815 or JLC master (tried on both). Thank you.
