5980 and 5712
Does anyone know the rotation of a 5980 and a 5712 on a watch winder? Clockwise or counter-clockwise? I've been getting mixed info from different AD's. Thanks!

5980 winding
By: Rod : April 14th, 2009-19:32
Have a 5980 and Stern in NY said counter clockwise. I've been doing that and it works fine, although they said it needs 800-900 per day to keep it fully wound. Mine only does 600 and it keeps it running but I wind it before wearing. Rod.

Hi,there is a website that lists all watches and it states 5712 is anti clockwise, perhaps someone else will know the website,it is for watchwinders and was really helpful, unfortunately I did not make it a "favourite" R Ian
