5970 and 3970 have tin foil wheels inside
that's why I won't ever wear one. However the tin foil is SWiss made, although the tin foil isn't called tin foil by the Swiss... and I know that Patek does outsource this aluminum-wrap which they 'modify' into the wheel and certain 'coils'. The dingy-things in their repeaters are also aluminum-wrap, before they are hardened by solar power-lamps, or melted iirc?? Into gong-y things inside. But either way, to answer your question, both are too 'full' of screws.

Which one is more elegant: 3970 or 5970?
