I think this watch sits well both on a female and male wrist. Only downside is that it costs more than 5x the amount for a 5712/1A.
I can imagine a glamourous actress or a tycoon wearing it.

I found your analysis of the practicality of the diamond bezel to be extremely funny. But you are correct, a diamond covered watch is very practical since it won't get scratched! Never thought of it.
