My personal experience is very clear: It's the best wearing watch I ever owned. It's weight and feel is second to none.
And it's stealth. Only you (and a few other freaks) know that you have a very valued piece on your wrist. Everyone else will think it's steel. Because the White Gold is not White, but Grey (as the "G" in the Refernce 3711/1G signifies).
I have a 3800/1A and cannot wear it any more and will put it up for sale. OK, it's a lot smaller, but it feels like a toy compared to the 3711.
It took almost a year to make me jump over that fence of the ridicule price - but it's worth every cent!
If you look for a keeper - that's the watch. You will never think about the price any more after the cash has left you. But you would think about a lost occasion for a lifetime if you miss this one.
