Patek Philippe

1st step after diploma, say "no" to your father

...its also the 1st step into being a man smile Don't take it wrong, but its never a good buy to get something jst for its tag. Easier to tell him, that you will take a tour at a shop that sells several high end brands, and see what watch you really like, and it might cost less then 30,000$. My advice, don't buy it jst cuz its a patek. If u do, and then with time, u start hating looking at ur wrist, u will regret listening to your father.

Criterias should be : Which one makes your heart beat faster, looks good on your writs, and what you are really looking for that watch to deliever ( fashion, flashy, status statement, etc...)

My personal experience with Patek, is that i never like those watches. I started appreciating them as i was getting more and more interested in watches. The process came slowly, took time. Now, i fully appreciate them, and i think i still have a good margin into discovering them still. I think that you cannot appreciate a watch such as a Patek, without having a background in your stories with watches.

Basically, if you were wearing all your life a seiko, and won the lottery, and can afford a Patek, you cannot enjoy it and appreciate it at its just value anyway.
I like your question though smile and good luck in your search.
