In public, the 5980 flies mostly below the radar - people don‘t recognize the rarity and the exceptionality.
The 5980 is very comfortable to wear, thanks to the very smooth workmanship of the bracelet.
You can only compare it with a Grand Seiko bracelet (it‘s true!). The Oyster bracelet gives a heavy-duty-impression, which is probably intended by the maker. In my opinion the RO bracelet wears much more stiffer.

If you will you can wear it everyday. Concerning the value it does not matter a lot whether the watch is worn or not - the difference might be around € 5.000,00. I think that the delight of wearing this watch everyday is more worth than this small amount ...

I wear mine all the time and enjoy every minute... superb regular wear this one!
My problem is that I live in a hostile place where mugging and theft is rampant and to wear a 100k watch on daily basis is not a great idea. I can only enjoy it in my travels to destination like Dubai, Singapore or Switzerland ...
Even if it is insured a replacement would not be with the name on my warranty or perhaps a blk dial one at all.
