I am interested in knowing what metals are the 5059 and 5040.
Also, am curious, since you seem to have a decided preference for white metals, what led you to buy a rose 5070, rather than the white one?

both the 5040 and 5059 are in platinum. I actually do not prefer white metals........
I go for the overall look of the watch. For example, I think that the 5004 and 5135 are nicest in yellow gold and if i were to get either of them, it would be in yellow. I wanted the 5040 in rose gold but the silver dial on the platinum one really looked ...
