Two great purchases

A Patek and a Bugaboo. I think the Bugaboo is pretty close on the Patek in terms of engineering, reliability, aesthetics and usefulness.  I got a Bugaboo for child #1 and before my first Patek. I’m on Patek #4 and child #3 and I have the same Bugaboo. Does 700 miles a year on average. So it’s done about 5,000 miles and going strong. I may be passing the Bugaboo and Pateks to the next generation.

Another use for my 5980

 By: fuigo : February 27th, 2018-21:09
Last time I shared a photo of making great use of 5980 in Yilan, Taiwan. Cooking eggs in a natural hot spring pool. Today, I’m using it to time my baby’s nap time, since my wife is adamant about how much sleep he gets everyday. This is taken at the cafe o...

Space saving chronograph

fuigo, I like the space saving feature on this chronograph as 12-H counters are all in one place at 6 o'clock. So there is no need for a large watch. I am even more surprised that they built an aquarium in Kyoto with artificial seawater. Of course, Kyoto ...

Wow, thanks for sharing your knowledge...

Of this aquarium. We have been visiting Kyoto quite often and it’s our first time to visit it. It’s a nice and little aquarium. Having a park adjacent to it is ideal for kids too! I didn’t realize the water were not natural sea water and I wish I had some...

There was no Kyoto Aquarium when I lived in Japan

They built the aquarium only in 2012 and many years after my last visit to Kyoto. If I visit Kyoto again, I should try to find the aquarium but there are so many interesting things to see, do and eat.... Remember: Don't use the flash for photography as it...

Yes, the aquarium did seem new.

Thanks for the reminder... these days I only carry my iPhone with a Osmo for video. Too lazy to bring my camera. It’s either the camera or my baby. Hahaha

I totally agree!

Bugaboo is well built. A bit bulky for Asian streets, but it’s comfortable for the adults to push around and I can only imagine it’s equally comfortable for the occupants too! We are working on child #2. Haha.
