The details of the miniature painting are more apparent in person

From photos, and seeing it from a distance at the exhibition, I had found it a bit difficult to distinguish the details of the tree and the leaves. With a closer look, the light does give more three dimensionality to the image and the details really come into view. My close-up photo does a better job of capturing this, but it is still not doing a great job of capturing what it truly looks like in person.
I also found the peach color to a lot more interesting in person than it appears in photos. It feels pretty unique as I don't recall seeing this shade of color used much before, and certainly not in the volume seen on the caseback or dial of this piece.
