5970 is my grail but will certainly remain a dream (it is nice to have dreams, specially such nice dreams ) but with this salmon dial it is just THE one for me (like for many I suppose). I only wish to have the opportunity to see it in the metal one day w...

Thanks Mike. I am still very much in contact with Ahmed.

And the exact type of collector which makes this sometimes crazy hobby of ours worth while. I learnt a lot that day with passion being at the forefront of both Ahmedโ€™s and my journey. M.

Maybe I could arrange for 2 for you with your photography skills. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ M.

Great story. As soon as I saw the salmon dials it reminded me of the standing joke on TimeZone a while back about a Franck Muller salmon dial.....

that stayed on the sales corner for forever and nobody wanted it. So whenever there was a salmon dial shown there would be a collected tee hee about the whole thing. Personally I like some of them. Like yours.

Frank Muller V Patek Philippe?????
