because i hear so many people champion the 5970P above all else. For me the 5070P is my PP grail because it holds "something special" for me. So i mean "oddly" in teh sense that i suspect a lot of people might not understand that choice.

Although the movement is quite small (for the case) it works perfectly..... I consider the 5070 as the ugly duckling..... Its "flaws" (as you pointed out and as Nicolas has also pointed in his recent review) are part of its charm..... Both its multi-level...

Hi, 5070 and 5970 are ended but not the 5004 and 5971. PP still has (and probably will have for a while) Lemania based calibres. When they will have the capacity to serially produce enough of CH29 calibres to make the perpetual and split seconds versions,...

I was under the impression that they had a few lemania movements left...... Still though, 5004 & 5971 are limited production watches..... besides it is always interesting to see in-house movements... although PP modified/refinished the lemania movements.....
