Not to say the original light brown color is less handsome, I like it as well for more casual occasions, can't go wrong.

two things i do not like...

...about it. first, the watch is too thick for my taste. then secondly, the powere reserve indicator infringes on the date window when it is half way between + and - (will not happen too often though).

Agree on point 1 that it's not ultrathin, but you have to weigh this against its carrying both a Chrono and an annual calendar...

I think this was in fact a point one of these retailers was raising to introduce the 5960 -- how slim it is despite its complications πŸ˜‰ Best wishes.

I agree that it's thick, but I love the overall proportions.

I wasn't aware of the power reserve indicator issue, as I thought the small hand travelled over the Patek name between + and -.

Power reserve indicator never obscures date window

It travels counterclockwise from "low" at left to "high" at right. Park

Well if you like it , go for it. You will never have it. Till you buy it.

Its reasonably thick cause it has complications. Remember if its in your passion , you have to fullfill it. Cheers my friend , it boils down to your lust and intuition. You have to marry both. Geross.

Looks good

It’s is a tad bit thick though, and the wobble of the unidirectional rotating weight can bother some people. But a great complicated Patek at a decent price. Can’t go wrong!

Awesome piece!

If i did not already have 2 5960 would consider this one. Very cool and strong character. I don’t agree on it being thick, but everything is relative of course. It is the thickest and largest in my collection perhaps but it has never bothered me for even ...

For me at the moment the

most attractive version which I would like to own some day. Did you pull the trigger? Best, Thomas

Really like it

The strap just complements the dial perfectly. A luxurious casual look. It has tempted me too. And the case finishing on the 5960 is very underrated. The curvy softness of the sides really accentuates the pleasant visual appearance.

IMO the case is incredibly sexy, I love those curves.

I didn't like the strap in pictures, but I reckon that I changed my mind after trying it on. Anyway, I would swap it for a darker one (mate dark blue maybe) to match most of my daily outfits.

Also warming to it. And also tried it on recently again.

I don't mind the thicker case as I like the case shape and style (as I do the 5205 which seems to be somewhat similar). I do think however that I prefer the steel with bracelet, particularly the black dial. ...

WOW, she looks really nice on your wrist!

I was very tempted by the 1A, but I want it on strap. And never seen in person a converted one, so I prefer to be cautious not to regret later.

I know you have a soft spot for the 5960 (as myself) πŸ˜‰

Let's see how long I (we) can resist! 😁

Got it from Patek?

I'm using Hirsch London crocodile leather for now.

Maybe I will look for PP calfskin like the original one, check out the color selection, when I visit the boutique.
