ahh, I see.. this is the confusion... so the 5711/1A-010 is exactly the same in every way as the 5711/1A-001!! 

I found this out last year when i purchased mine and wondered about the different dial code.  When i contacted Patek they explained that the watch was exactly the same but they had to make a small alteration to the watch by making the dial thinner.  I am not sure why and they didnt say more than that but any change in a model requires at the very minimum a different dial code to differentiate the watches (and on the cert!) from the previous 5711/1A.

Apparently this dial change happened in 2010!  I wonder if it had anything to do with the PP seal or more likely the spiromax balance that was added to the 324 calibres... i'd love to know!

I was never very keen pon these large and vbig indexes, and always regretted the thin, long indexes of the 3700. If this is the case, this is some good news! Best, Nicolas

Still black-blue to me. But the model number does seem different; as I would assume it used to be 5711/1A-001 instead of 010 (at the end). Is it perhaps a change in the font size instead of the color? Hope to see the new one in person soon.

Under the new reference number 5711/1a-010. I reckoned my Nauti was produced from last year. It still looks bluish to me. Nevertheless, I love the subtleness of the dial. Green but still feeling blue for this Nauti.

My AD was kind enough to let me have it ...
