Those were the days. Seems like $725 today will get you a nice alligator strap and maybe have a little lunch money left over. I can remember when the Rolex Submariner was about $800.

shows. As far as the lack of a clasp it looks to me like one of the images from your original post shows a box without the clasp. Best, Patekova
