Yes, there really is a 5970P with a blue dial.
There was a unique piece (one in the world) auctioned off by Sotheby's in Hong Kong; it was a 5970P with a blue dial for charity. The current 5970P that will see production will have a black dial, but these will not be limited.

And I must also add, I think very highly of the 5970 in all its variants, even the one I like the least, I still am very very fond of this watch.
