Probably well known by community here that first 3940 had 240Q movement number starting 770000 with first 25 being beyer with matching 7700XX number also being on dial ; but perhaps not known is that first 100 had a large star moonphase - unfortunately mo...

Looks more elegant. The big stars feel a bit crowded. But for me still nothing beats the smily face of the moon phase of a Blancpain complete calendar from the 80s

I knew that there were different moonphase designs, but this is the first time I've paid attention to how they were different. All good stuff to know!
