Just joined the Patek family
hi all, i'm a new member here joining from london, england already found some great info so i'm looking forward to coming back and hopefully contributing... today i took delivery of my very first Patek, a brand new, 5167A. got, what i think, is a good dea...

still loving the 5167 - only problem is i'm now looking to add MORE!!!! Makes Rolex and other brands look and feel so pedestrian....

6 weeks on and this thing only gets nicer and nicer to wear. I've cut off an extra rubber "link" on the 6 o'clock side and it's now a perfect fit... a few more wrist-shots of this beauty...
Golly gosh! You showe some great facets of this watch...
On the first it looks nearly all black, as if it was PVD covered, and on the cufflink picture the bezel tries to outshine the luminosa on the dial. And we are speaking of a brushed bezel here! That is skill, play with light from Patek and the one that too...

... the more I wear this, the more I appreciate the simplicity of it! I did consider the 5164 but in the end thought the dial is horrendously cluttered. I'll be wearing the 5167 all weekend as we'll be enjoying a sunny one here in London!
